VP of Insurance Sales - Selby Jennings

We're seeking a dynamic, results-oriented Vice President of Insurance Sales to lead and shape our client's high-performing team of Insurance Agents. This strategic leadership role is ideal for someone with a strong background in insurance sales, a passion for developing talent, and a drive to exceed ambitious growth targets. You'll play a key role in shaping our sales strategy, mentoring agents, and expanding our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate a team of insurance agents to consistently surpass sales goals.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new agents, ensuring deep product knowledge and effective sales techniques.
• Design and execute sales plans and marketing initiatives to attract new clients and grow market share.
• Use KPIs and performance metrics to track progress, coach team members, and enhance productivity.
• Assist agents with client interactions and escalations, ensuring exceptional service and retention.
• Uphold regulatory standards and internal policies through regular audits and training.
• Deliver insightful sales reports, forecasts, and market trends to senior leadership.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of leadership experience in insurance sales
• Active Property & Casualty license
• Experience with Excess & Surplus Lines preferred
• Strong knowledge of P&C commercial insurance products (experience with various property products preferred)
• Proven leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales tools
• Tech-savvy with strong computer skills
• Continuing education in insurance and sales preferred
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
