Overview

Our client, a global investment firm is expanding its leadership team. The team is seeking a Vice President to lead real estate acquisition efforts across the U.S. This role involves overseeing the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of property acquisitions across multiple asset types. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in real estate investing, strategic thinking, and a proven ability to close complex transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Strategy: Direct the acquisitions team and shape investment strategy in line with company goals
• Source Deals: Identify and evaluate real estate opportunities across asset types
• Execute Transactions: Oversee due diligence, financial modeling, negotiations, and closings
• Monitor Markets: Stay informed on market trends and maintain strong industry relationships
• Financial Oversight: Build and review financial models; present deals to investment committees
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work with legal, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution
• Track Performance: Report on pipeline activity and monitor asset performance post-acquisition

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions with a strong record of closed deals
• Proven leadership in managing teams and large-scale transactions
• Advanced financial and analytical skills, including modeling and risk analysis
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders

Skills & Competencies

• Deep understanding of real estate markets and trends
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ARGUS experience is a plus
• Team-oriented with a proactive, positive attitude
